Windows-only is a dead end.

Most Betfair trading software still only runs on Windows. If you're on Mac, you need Parallels or a VPS. If you're on mobile, you're stuck with the exchange app. That's not good enough. Traders work from different devices, in different places. The software should follow them, not the other way around.

Traderline is free to download and use — no subscription and no licence cost. On Polymarket, a small builder fee applies to orders placed through third-party software like Traderline. On Betfair, you pay only the exchange's standard commission.

How we got here

Traderline started in 2011 in Coimbra, Portugal. The founders were trading on Betfair and the available software was either too slow, too complicated, or locked to Windows. So they built something better.

In 2025, we made a call that most companies wouldn't: we threw out the entire legacy codebase and rebuilt from zero. Not an update, not a migration. A complete rebuild designed for cross-platform from day one. The new Traderline is the fastest version we've ever shipped, and it runs everywhere.

That same year, we expanded beyond Betfair and launched Traderline for Polymarket, bringing our ladder interface to the prediction market with the largest volume in the world. Same tools, same edge, a completely new market.

The team

Four founders with backgrounds in engineering, trading, and building technology companies at scale.

We're based in Coimbra, Portugal, at the Instituto Pedro Nunes technology incubator next to the University of Coimbra.

Traderline is listed on the Betfair App Directory as part of the Betfair Vendor Program. We connect through their official API via a secure, private connection. Your credentials are stored locally on your device, encrypted, and never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

We never touch your money

Traderline is a software interface, not an exchange or a gambling operator. We don't accept, process, or hold any funds. All trading, account management, and money is handled exclusively by the exchange or platform you connect to. We are just the tool you trade with.
